About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Oncology (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit on night shift
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in accordance with unit guidelines
• Operate standard unit equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
• Assist with or support procedures including thoracentesis and echocardiograms as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs
• Float to other med-surg units on a rare basis as unit needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Ability to work 6 weekend days per scheduling period
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification
• Prior experience in an oncology or women's surgical nursing environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
