This travel assignment involves providing high-quality care in a Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility, specializing in nursing assistance and resident interaction. Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Provide high-quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, and compassion.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' health status and care provided.
• Create and maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols and sanitation standards.
• Recognize signs and symptoms of illness in residents and promptly report them to supervisors.
• Report instances of abuse, mistreatment, or neglect to appropriate authorities according to facility policies.
• Show compassion and dignity when caring for dying residents, ensuring comfort and attending to their needs.
• Communicate effectively with registered nurses, conveying concerns or changes in residents' conditions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• New York Certified Nursing Assistant license (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience
