The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks a full-time, Board Certified/Eligible Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgeon. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery seeks to recruit an exceptional and motivated microsurgeon to join our well-established team. The Department has a high-volume and comprehensive microsurgery program that includes breast reconstruction, limb reconstruction, lymphatic surgery, foregut reconstruction, trunk reconstruction, and complex calvarial and scalp reconstruction. The environment is highly collaborative with several multidisciplinary surgical teams. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and be supported by experienced administrative and clinical staff.

The successful candidate will also contribute actively to the department's academic mission through teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students. Prior experience in contributing to and building multidisciplinary programs is strongly preferred.

To provide clinical and didactic education to learners of all levels

To adhere to all other duties and guideline of the Department and The Chair as assigned.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Successful completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Successful completion of a Microsurgery Fellowship, or equivalent experience
• Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
