JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Licenses: Active Ohio medical license and DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ATLS required (ABFM/ABIM must maintain; ABEM must show past documentation)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume ED (approximately 109 patients per day).
- Manage a wide range of emergency conditions, including medical, surgical, and trauma cases.
- Work collaboratively with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing staff, and specialty consultants.
- Participate in rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with weekend coverage.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and adhere to hospital policies and privileging requirements.
