Technical Training Senior Advisor, Content Design and Developer - Evernorth Health Services - Remote

Position SummaryThe Learning & Development Content Design and Developer plays a critical role in transforming complex concepts into engaging, high-impact learning experiences that enable Sales and Account Management professionals to perform at their best. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and business partners to design, develop, and deliver scalable, interactive learning solutions that align to Evernorth’s Learning & Development strategy and standards.The ideal candidate combines performance-driven learning design, strong technical authoring skills, and a robust understanding of adult learning principles to create digital content that drives measurable behavior change and business results.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Design & DevelopmentDesign end-to-end learning solutions that apply adult learning theory, performance consulting and learner experience design to strengthen our learners’ selling, relationship management, and client engagement capabilitiesDevelop design blueprints and storyboards that are clear, scalable, and visually aligned with brand standards.Develop high-quality, interactive digital learning assets (eLearning, microlearning, videos, simulations, and job aids) aligned with the team’s design standards and learning frameworks (Teach–Demo–Do), using tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, or similar.Create modular and reusable content that supports both formal and in-the-flow learning within Allego and Salesforce-integrated environments.Partner with SMEs to ensure content accuracy, business relevance, and alignment with identified learning objectives.Digital Learning Experience EnablementTranslate curriculum and design needs into digital experiences that are functional, intuitive, and aligned to best practices.Ensure learning assets (videos, eLearning, assessments, field tools, reference materials) are published correctly and consistently across platforms.Support broader L&D team by advising on platform capability, navigation, and digital flow to enhance learner experience.Partner with Learning Data & Analytics to ensure reporting structures, metrics, and dashboards reflect platform-based engagement and learner behaviors.Collaboration & AlignmentPartner with the Curriculum Design & Experience team to maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, and learner experience across all L&D deliverables.Work closely with the Training Operations team to ensure proper version control, accessibility compliance, and adherence to controlled documentation standards.Collaborate with the Learning Data & Analytics team to measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve content based on performance insights.Continuous ImprovementStay current on learning technology trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the team’s content development capability.Recommend innovative delivery formats and design approaches that enhance learner engagement and retention.Participate in peer reviews and maintain quality assurance across all deliverables to ensure they meet team and enterprise standards.Qualifications5+ years of experience designing and developing digital learning content, preferably for a sales or client-facing audience.Proven expertise with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, WellSaid, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, or similar).Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and microlearning strategies.Familiarity with ADDIE, learning journeys, and digital-first training strategies.Experience working in collaborative, agile environments with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with Allego, SuccessFactors LMS, SharePoint, or other learning management and enablement technologies preferred.Core CompetenciesLearning Strategy Translation: Converts business and performance goals into impactful design outcomes.Design Excellence: Crafts intuitive, experiential, and modern learning programs that reflect brand and learner needs.Creative Excellence: Translates complex concepts into engaging, modern visual learning experiences.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in content authoring and digital publishing tools.Collaboration & Communication: Works fluidly with partners across L&D, SMEs, and business units.Results Orientation: Designs content with measurable impact and ties learning outputs to performance outcomes.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
