Travel RN - ICUAmerican TravelerYakima, Washington, United StatesPosition ID: P-755187Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 15Openings: 1Start date: 2026-10-05T00:00:00.000Z$2,419.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a WA or compact license and at least one completed travel assignment for a nights position in a combined ACU/CCU unit.Details226-bed non-profit community hospital with 11 ICU bedsCombined ACU/CCU unit caring for both ICU and telemetry patientsPatient population includes CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, post-cath and some surgical (vascular, abdominal, GI) patientsManages drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, and heparin12-hour night shifts (1900-0730 or 0700-1930), 36 hours per weekEvery-other-weekend rotation requiredNo on-call requirementsFloating required to ICU level or below throughout the hospitalUses EPIC EMRRequirementsActive WA or compact RN license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of ICU experience requiredMust have completed at least one prior travel assignmentExperience with chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths requiredExperience with art lines, Impella, and/or IABP preferredExperience with blood product administration and BiPAP requiredAdditional InformationProvide care for post-cath patients with TR bands and femoral approach, including femoral sheaths (travelers will not pull sheaths)Monitor and manage patients with CVA overflowProfessional scrubs in any color are acceptableFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this positionHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
