Alaska Regional Hospital Travel RN Alaska perm RN license is required for submission Operating Room (701) Shift: 6:30AM-7:00PM Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Experience Needed: Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, Robotics. (Possibly 15 call shifts per month. Call will vary from one month to the next. Typically it is 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks) On call is required Unit Information: Operating Room Location: Alaska Regional Hospital Address: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage AK 99508 Floor: 2nd floor Building: Main hospital building General Information Number of Beds: 11 ORs Shift for this position: Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible) Call Expectation: Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period) Number of Staff: Varies depending on day Type of staff: Day Shift: Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs Night Shift: One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of equipment: Variety of OR beds and equipment EMR: Epic Typical hiring profile Skill Set: Most recruited for: OR RN Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Experience as circulator Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience as Scrub CNOR List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General) Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics Best personality Fit: Positive outlook. Willing to work with team members. Required Certifications: Alaska RN license BLS ACLS Floating Area(s): N/A Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
