Ticket Writer - FT

The Ticket Writer is responsible for processing transactions of betting slips in accordance with governing regulations. Transactions included, but are not limited to, the selling/cashing of tickets, make change, cash checks, and redemption of tickets.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements, verifying and balancing drawer funds at beginning and end of shift, collecting appropriate amount of money from guest for wagers and making the correct change, and removing, recording and turning in amount of cash at the end of shift with all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years casino experience. Previous money handling experience preferred. Strong people skills.
