If you are looking for a rewarding experience, please apply below. Position Details Wage: Evaluations $130-$250 / hourly and $60-$70 for additional services. Location: Suffolk, NY. Cases available in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Responsibilities Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings. Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings. Follow the established therapy plan for a family/child, plan ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress. Prepare progress reports as indicated. Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Submit required records within established timelines. Qualifications Must have a passion for working with children and families. NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Self-motivated, team player who exercises patience and professionalism. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation. The ability to ascend/descend staircases. The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly. The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods. Benefits Flexible work schedule.
