POSITION: Transportation Aide

1. Comply with all Agency and Program policies, procedures and protocols in a professional and ethical manner
2. Develops, maintains, and communicates monthly transportation calendar
3. Provides transportation and supervision of clients as requested
4. Prepare and complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as well as perform other required administrative tasks assigned
5. Maintains safe use of Agency vehicles
6. Attends and actively participates in scheduled training experiences
7. Attend regular supervision with immediate supervisor
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor or Program Director

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

1. Ability to intermittently stand and sit
2. Pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying as required
3. Must be able to describe and articulate events in both written and spoken English
4. Must be able to read and comprehend reports written in English
5. Ability to provide awake supervision of clients at all times
6. Ability to provide vehicular transportation of clients
7. Has the mental and emotional capacity to work in a highly stressful environment
8. Maintains a flexible schedule for appointments and on-call duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Excellent driving record
3. Good written and verbal communication skills
4. 21 years of age or older
5. All required clearances
6. Be sensitive to and comfortable with working in an agency that provides services to a culturally diverse population
