Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify mental health concerns and formulating accurate clinical diagnoses.

  • Crafting individualized treatment plans and implementing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Facilitating individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to align with the unique goals of each client.

  • Providing crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing de-escalation strategies and immediate support solutions.

  • Maintaining up-to-date, confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and treatment approaches.

  • Educating clients and families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available resources within the community, advocating for their rights and needs.

  • Engaging in continuous professional development to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles. Your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate their unique challenges, fostering a safe and supportive environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

  • A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
