Travel RN – Emergency Room | Holiday Coverage

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 16 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during holiday coverage period
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a high-acuity environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with high-volume or Level I/II trauma center environments
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
