Plant Controller

Plant ControllerOur client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Plant Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of related experience, strong communication skills and high attention to details. This position is onsite.The Plant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Lead all plant-level financial processes, including general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and maintenance teams to analyze production performance, cost drivers, and efficiency opportunities.Develop and evaluate financial models and business cases to support capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, and operational projects.Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and performance reports for management review.Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.Partner with procurement and continuous improvement teams to track financial impact from savings projects and process enhancements.Support audit activities by providing accurate documentation and maintaining integrity in all financial records.Manage the development of annual operating and capital budgets, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership.Conduct ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling to support data-driven decision-making.Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering skill development and accountability.Stay current with changes in accounting standards, manufacturing trends, and regulatory requirements.Participate in cross-functional initiatives, helping to streamline financial processes and strengthen performance management systems.The Plant Controller will possess the following:Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field required5+ years of accounting experienceExperience in the manufacturing industryStrong analytical problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer
