What Your Role Entails

• Performing thorough patient assessments, recommending diagnostic exams, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating urgent, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, guided by credentialing
• Guiding patients and families on prevention strategies, wellness, and disease management solutions
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management initiatives

• Maintaining comprehensive and precise records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Educational Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to acquire them within 90 days
