Senior Tax Analyst

Job Title

$80,000-$ 90,000 + Quarterly Bonus [ could easily be 10 % +]

Job Qualifications

• BS Degree Accounting, Finance or Related Discipline Required
• 3-5 Years of experience (public accounting background preferred)
• CPA Preferred

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Attention to detail and good organization skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
• High degree of integrity and professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively communicate with different groups across campus including management
• Strong working knowledge of Accounting, Finance, and Corporate laws functions
• Possess solid knowledge of US tax concepts
• Possess ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
• Strong knowledge of general corporate income tax

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Corporate income tax compliance (Tax provision preparation, assistance with third party provider on corporate federal return and state returns)
• Individual compliance (Preparation of various 1040s as well as assistance with third party provider)
• Sales and use tax compliance (preparations and fillings of monthly returns)
• Personal property tax compliance (preparation and filling of returns)
• Preparation of partnership returns
• Assistance with merger and acquisitions
• Preparation of Trust Returns
• Perform tax research and projects
