Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a travel assignment located in Berlin, Vermont. Start date 06/22/2026 for a 13–16 week assignment with a weekly pay range of $2,406–$2,556. Shift is 3x12-hour Nights in a hospital setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring specialty RT skills and cross-coverage across ICU/ED areas.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including mechanical ventilation and noninvasive support
- Manage ventilators (e.g., Hamilton C3/T1) and NIV devices (V60 NIV, Airvo 2, F&P heated HFNC, Bubble CPAP) per protocols; assist with initiation, adjustments, and weaning
- Implement RT-driven protocols for bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance, NIV therapy, and hyperinflation to optimize patient outcomes
- Support external transports for adult critical care patients; collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalists; document care in the EMR
- Participate in rounds and care planning; provide neonatal and pediatric care as part of unit coverage when needed; follow unit-specific procedures
- Maintain thorough documentation in Epic and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards

Requirements
- Certifications: RRT (NBRC Verification), BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; Neonate/pediatric NICU/PICU experience required
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, including ICU and ED floors; travel assignment with flexible scheduling including weekends as required
- Requires reliable transportation to and from the assigned facility as needed
