Details 13-week assignment in the Operating Room (Surgery/OR 701) department Shift schedule of 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Multi-specialty OR unit with 10 beds and a team of 54 staff members Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 7 RNs, 10 CSTs, 3-4 FAs, 4 PCTs, 2 anesthesia techs, 1 supervisor, and 1 director Night shift is on‑call only EMR system is Meditech, currently converting to Expanse On‑call required including weekly rotations and one weekend per month No floating required Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology procedures required ENT and vascular (non‑cardiac) experience preferred Pediatric experience preferred BSN preferred Experience with open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery cases (e.g., appendectomy, cholecystectomy, some bariatrics) Experience with robotic orthopedic procedures, total knee/hip replacements, and trauma orthopedics Experience with laparoscopic/robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent interventions US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Team player with initiative and drive to keep operations running smoothly Required scrub color/attire is Cobalt Blue Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
