About the Role This role involves leading the day-to-day execution of sophisticated landscape projects, bridging the gap between design vision and field implementation. It's ideal for a skilled tradesperson who values craftsmanship and leadership in a dynamic environment. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and success of luxury residential landscape installations. Key Responsibilities Lead field execution of residential landscape construction projects. Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to implement design visions. Provide hands-on leadership to field crews and participate in the work. Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure project standards are met. Operate landscape construction equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators. Drive a truck with a trailer and assist with loading and unloading equipment. Maintain clean and professional job sites. Communicate professionally with homeowners and escalate issues as needed. Adapt to field changes and maintain job ownership. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and craftsmanship. Minimum Requirements 5-7 years of landscaping or landscape construction experience. Strong hands-on landscape construction knowledge. Experience operating landscape equipment. Ability to work independently and take direction. Professionalism when working around high-end residential clients. Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. Willingness to learn job-site Spanish if not currently bilingual. Preferred Qualifications CDL is a plus and may warrant additional compensation. Work Environment Full-Time, On-Site/Field-Based position in Birmingham, AL. Approximately 44-46 hours per week, with overtime opportunities. Workday starts at 6:30 AM with safety/training meetings. Occasional travel may be required; company vehicles remain at the office.
