Registered Nurse Wound Care
Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic
Role Responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for patients requiring wound and ostomy management. Responsibilities Treat and monitor various wounds such as surgical openings, ulcers, decubitus ulcers, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. Develop and implement treatment plans, assess symptoms of complex wounds, monitor for infections, and ensure proper wound cleaning. Educate healthcare team members on wound care best practices. Qualifications Must be a graduate of a nursing program with a current RN license in the applicable state or with compact licensure. Hold WCC/WOCN certification. Skills Advanced wound assessment and management skills, ability to create care plans, infection control, and team education. Key Duties Prescribe and coordinate wound care, evaluate wound healing progress, and support the healthcare team with wound management expertise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
