Job Details Job Location: Bozeman, MT 59715 Salary Range: $18.00 - $27.00 Hourly Pre Flight/Pre-Press Specialist This role is focused on helping the sales and production teams prepare files for production. The role will use Adobe Suite products to proof files for quality, converting file formats, and manipulating layouts for the best fit and finish. Getting files to be print ready. This not a designer role and it does not necessarily lead to a design career but any previous design experience can be helpful in this role. Design experience in this role is more about file prep, file adjustments, making art changes to a file that has been provided to us by a customer, preparing a file that provides the production team with a print ready file. There is no creative design tasks as part of this role. Communicate with sales team to ensure you’re meeting the needs for the order. Work with production team to ensure files are created for them to succeed. Keep a clean and efficient work environment both physically and digitally. Requirements High level of computer skills: Microsoft platform, Google platform, email, and chat Must be able to communicate electronically in a professional manner Good in person communication skills Ability to problem solve and be solutions oriented Highly detailed Strong understanding of the Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator) Ability to understand production workflow and systems Strong work ethic Have excellent attendance Be able to learn processes and production systems quickly Be able to follow standard operating procedures Strong work ethic Be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts Be able to lift up to 35lbs with or without assistance, if needed Helpful Skills Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Work Schedules and Arrangements Full Time Onsite position – After a training period and over time has demonstrated the ability to perform in the role at a high level, a remote/hybrid remote may be available Hourly Pay - $18-27per hour, depending on specific experience. Candidateswith print industry experience is not required but highly preferred Hours 830am-530pm Monday through Friday (hours can be flexible) About Color World Color World is a commerical print and sign company.
