Travel Ultrasound Technologist - Weekend Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Weekends ONLY, Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On-call required for Saturday and Sunday nights.

The Ultrasound Technologist will provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient clients, operating under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvis, gynecological, obstetrical sonograms, as well as small part scanning (thyroid, breast, scrotum) and ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations. Floating to outpatient imaging centers may be required.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform sonographic procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and small parts imaging.
• Conduct ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, and aspirations.
• Provide services for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and compliance with departmental protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Ultrasound Technician.
• A.R.D.M.S. or ARRT for Ultrasound vascular registry required.
• BLS certification required.
• Vascular registry (RVT) required.
• Experience in general ultrasound studies is required; echo experience is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
