The Pulmonology Department is seeking a driven and dedicated pulmonologist to join the UPMC Northwest Comprehensive Lung Center. Seneca, Pennsylvania (Venango County), is a great place to live and have fun! Venango County is in Western Pennsylvania, about halfway between Pittsburgh and Erie and less than 3 hours from major cities, including: Akron, OH; Buffalo, NY; Cleveland, OH; Morgantown, WV; State College, PA; and Youngstown, OH, via interstate highways. Candidates must be fellowship trained in Pulmonary and BC/BE. Interventional pulmonology skills would be an added plus. The physician will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents. This is an outstanding opportunity to have the best of all worlds at a top academic medical center with plenty of opportunities to collaborate, perform research, and teach. Candidates must be fellowship trained in Pulmonary and BC/BE. Interventional pulmonology skills would be an added plus. • Join an established practice with the support of APP staff
• Pulmonary operates five days/week. Pulmonary inpatient Hospital Consult service operates seven days/week
• Pulmonary procedural work: Diagnostic bronchoscopies
• Pulmonary Clinic has all types of pathology (e.g., Asthma, COPD, ILD, CF, Lung Nodules/Masses, PH) Candidates can expect:
