Desired Background and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA CCCs (CFY candidates welcome)
  • Experience providing SLP services in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of pediatric and school-based caseloads
  • Teletherapy experience or willingness to learn related technologies
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultation services for students with a range of speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining due dates and compliance standards
  • Engage in family and staff education to support carryover of speech goals
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively, as required by assignment
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
