District Chef Needed for School Food Service

Maschio's Food Service

District Chef needed for school food service program in the Somerset County, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full time day shift position. Occasional nights and weekend for catering events.

Culinary experience is required. Must be willing to travel with in the school district. Chef testing may be given. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

Oversee and train cooks in each school within the district. Ensure proper cooking procedures and presentation of food is being observed.

ServSafe® certification required.

Must have experience in catering.
Must have experience in satellite preparation.
K-12 experience a plus.
Creating different menus items while adhering to school food service guideline NSLP.
Place food orders
Monthly inventory.
Use of personal protective equipment at all times.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
