As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide welcoming customer service. Using clear communication and a caring, team-focused approach, you will help maintain a secure environment while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
