Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and available resources.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment or valid compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Ability to practice independently in a Medical/Surgical clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and contingent clinical nursing situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing specialty preferred.
