Overview Position: Associate Professor (CHS) – School of Pharmacy, Clinical Practice, Innovation and Research Division. Salary: Negotiable; starting October 1, 2026. Job Summary This faculty position focuses on developing an independent research program, teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, and establishing clinical practice for community-based education. The successful candidate will collaborate across biomedical and health science schools and support programmatic priorities of the division. Key Responsibilities Advance the research and scholarship mission of the School of Pharmacy by developing an independent research program and establishing collaborations to produce publishable work. Teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, including classroom instruction and practice-related courses. Serve as a member of school committees and working groups. Develop a clinical practice (4-8 hours per week) complementary to the candidate’s expertise and research/scholarship. Required Qualifications Postgraduate Year 2 pharmacy residency (PGY2), PhD training, fellowship, or equivalent clinical or academic experience. Wisconsin pharmacist licensure or eligibility to obtain license; if immigration sponsorship is required, license must be in place prior to filing a petition. Credentials sufficient for appointment as Associate Professor (CHS) at UW‑Madison School of Pharmacy. Preferred Qualifications Record of research leading to peer‑reviewed publications. Prior teaching, mentoring, or precepting experience. Expertise or research interests in neuropsychiatry and/or geriatrics (preferred). Education Pharm.D. or equivalent terminal degree. Compensation and Benefits Negotiable annual salary.
