Charge ER RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, working 4x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30) in one week and 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30) in the alternating week. Every other weekend required.

We are seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room (ER) department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead nursing staff in the ER, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of patient care.
• Oversee patient care, maintaining a high level of clinical assessment and intervention.
• Manage patient ratios, with experience handling a 4:1 patient ratio.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation and data management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of ER nursing experience required, with prior charge experience preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI required.
• Experience in community hospital settings preferred.
• Must possess a valid nursing license (NM/Compact license accepted prior to start).
