Vice President, Head of Search & Evaluation

Revolution Medicines seeks a Vice President to lead search and evaluation of external innovation opportunities in oncology. This senior leader will develop strategy, build a high-performing team, and drive identification and assessment of discovery- and clinical-stage partnerships aligned with corporate portfolio objectives.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for external innovation search and evaluation in partnership with executive stakeholders
• Develop and execute search strategies aligned with research, development, and commercial priorities
• Oversee full portfolio of discovery- and clinical-stage opportunities and deploy team resources
• Build external sourcing engine through engagement with biotech companies, academic institutions, and innovation ecosystems
• Partner with portfolio management and disease strategy leaders to identify areas for strategic value creation

Requirements

• Deep scientific and business acumen in oncology or related therapeutic areas
• Proven experience leading corporate development, business development, or strategy teams
• Demonstrated ability to assess and evaluate external innovation opportunities at scale
• Exceptional strategic judgment and executive communication skills
• Experience building and managing high-performing organizations
• Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management capabilities
