Job Description Cafeteria Worker Reports to: Cafeteria Manager Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Contract: 183 Days Hours: TBD Salary: $13.85/hr – $17.00/hr Position Type: Full-Time Primary Purpose Prepare meals for students of El Dorado School District. Follow recipes and task sheets provided by Kitchen Manager and Child Nutrition Director. Work cooperatively with other employees and maintain a positive attitude. Provide a positive experience for students, our customers. Be open to learning new tasks and embracing new ideas. Be flexible in an ever‑changing work environment. Follow all health and safety procedures consistently. Qualifications Special Knowledge/Skills: Customer service. People management, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback. Planning and multi‑tasking. Self‑motivation with a high energy level. Conflict resolution. Verbal communication. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs over short distances in a kitchen setting. Reach and lower items in a kitchen setting. Stoop, kneel, and bend as required. Safely operate kitchen equipment. Job Requirements High school or trade school degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
