BJC Medical Group Cardiology is seeking an experienced Cardiologist Medical Director to lead and help shape a growing cardiology program at Memorial Hospital Belleville, located in the St. Louis metro area.

This leadership opportunity is open to both Interventional and Non-Invasive Cardiologists who are passionate about program development, clinical excellence, and collaborative leadership.

Position Highlights

• Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for cardiology services
• Partner with hospital administration, physicians, and care teams to enhance quality and performance
• Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and expand access to cardiology services

Practice Setting

• Join an established, collaborative team:
• 8 Cardiologists and 3 APPs
• Dedicated Medical Assistant for each physician
• APPs assist with clinic and inpatient rounding
• Cardiology hospitalist to manages inpatient care

Clinical Responsibilities & Schedule

Flexible structure based on subspecialty:

For Interventional Cardiologists:

• 23 days in Cath Lab
• 12 days in Clinic
• Dedicated cath lab time with strong procedural volume

For General (Non-Invasive) Cardiologists:

• Primarily clinic-based with inpatient consultative support as needed
• Opportunity to focus on diagnostics, imaging, and longitudinal care

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive two-year guaranteed salary
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
