With over 92 years of success and continued growth, NASB is seeking new team members eager to grow with us!We are currently looking for a Jr. Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst I to join our Commercial Real Estate Credit Administration team. (Level of Jr. or I will depend on candidate's education and experience.)Job SummaryThe Credit Analyst supports the Credit Administration team by assisting with administrative tasks, spreading financials, reviewing third-party reports, and helping underwrite the bank's simpler loan products. This is an entry-level, developmental role designed to build core credit skills with strong guidance and support from senior analysts and management.What You Can Expect To Work OnAdministration/Reporting Prepare and order appraisals for all the loan products and monitor completion.Responsible for uploading and managing financial statement ticklers.Analysis/Due Diligence Review borrower financials, spread and complete analysis within Sageworks.Review appraisals and analyze real estate performance.Assist in completing market, borrower, and portfolio analysis as needed.Underwriting/Loan Reviews Responsible for underwriting the IRA product and less complex residential construction loans and less complex CRE transactions that are under $2mm in loan size and less than $10mm LTOB with senior analyst and management support.Assists as needed with the analysis of more complex CRE and residential LL&D transactionsAssists senior analysts with completing annual reviews and other relationship level analysis.Customer Service Address inquiries or issues within a timely manner.What You Offer UsBachelor's degree or other formal education preferred (with a focus on business, finance, risk management, or other similar area)One to three years' experience in commercial real estate underwriting, commercial loan underwriting, construction administration or other related experience is preferred.Some knowledge of commercial real estate lending, regulations and compliance is preferred.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communicationAbility to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and provide excellent internal customer serviceCredit and background checks will be required.What We Offer YouNASB offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits packages, including: Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, and vision coverage)401(k) retirement plan with a 50% employer match on the first 6% of your contributionGenerous paid time off (PTO) including 11 holidays, your birthday and volunteer timeInternal training and development programs to help reach your career goals.This position will be based out of our office, with flexibility for remote work one to two days per week.
