Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a CVOR position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of cardiovascular surgery experience.

Details

• Work in the CVOR Surgery unit of a hospital with 4 dedicated CVOR suites among 23 total ORs
• Features one hybrid OR room
• Cares for cardiovascular surgical patients at a 1:1 nursing ratio
• Day shift team includes RN, CST, CFA, and charge nurse while night shift includes in-house trauma and call teams
• Typical procedures include CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, and vascular/thoracic surgery
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Scheduled shift is 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation
• On-call requirements include 2 on-call shifts per week and 1 on-call weekend per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NV)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical environment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit guidelines and policies reviewed during orientation
• Scheduled the same as full-time staff to meet facility needs, which may vary week to week
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
