Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (4x10 Hours) | Shift start times vary: 6:45 AM–5:15 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM | Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute hospital Operating Room setting
• Utilize Epic electronic health records for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed for call-off situations
• Float to like units or affiliate facilities within scope of practice as needed to meet staffing needs
• Work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license in hand at time of offer (pending license accepted for submission; must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• First-time travel nurses are not accepted for this assignment
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
• Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers and declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Prior experience charting in Epic
