Shipping & Receiving Specialist Location: Thornton, Colorado Pay: $23-$26/hr DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Type: Contract-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for domestic and international shipments, inventory management, material handling, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments and materials. Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx and UPS. Prepare shipping, customs, and export documentation. Maintain inventory records and organize warehouse materials. Coordinate deliveries and support operations teams. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment. Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow OSHA, ISO, and company quality standards. Requirements 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience. Experience with domestic and international shipping. Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and shipping documentation. Knowledge of customs and export requirements. Forklift operating experience. Experience handling hazardous materials and SDS documentation preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. High School Diploma or GED. Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse environment. Regular lifting of up to 30 pounds. Frequent bending, twisting, and material handling. Safety-focused workplace requiring adherence to established procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
