You will manage inventory accuracy, process incoming shipments, and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Whether you’re advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.Role ResponsibilitiesIdentify and provide the correct parts for customer vehiclesReceive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventoryMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levelsControl supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiencyAllocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflowReturn incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptlyFollow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Required QualificationsCompletion of Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adherence to competency standardsAbility to read, interpret, and accurately record dataIntermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiencyStrong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendorsAbility to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentPhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periodsEffective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactionsAbout CarMaxAt CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process.
