About the Role:

Spine Care Delaware is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Newark, DE. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical forms
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
• Handle general administrative duties including filing, faxing, and correspondence

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a medical or healthcare front desk/receptionist role preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
