Distribution Engineer

Distribution Engineer – Portland, ORResponsibilities:Design and operation of utility distribution systems within a utility's distribution departments.Engineering and design for overhead and underground systems in varying electrical and environment conditions (4 kV through 35 kV)Ability to directly and professionally interact with clients in a positive manner.Lead and mentor other engineers and drafters to complete projects effectively.Assisting with proposals, budgets, and schedules as needed.Periodic Travel.Required Education/Experience:A Bachelors in Engineering. Ideally in Electrical, Civil, or MechanicalA registered PE or the ability to obtain prior to starting.Strong knowledge and experience of the design and operation of overhead and underground distribution lines.
