Job Description Job Description Our Client, a leading provider of precast, prestressed architectural and structural systems is looking for Industiral Grounds Keepers in Spartanburg, SC. Title: Industrial Grounds Keeper Background friendly Pay: 18.22/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: first shift(Starting times may vary) Summary of Primary Functions: The Industrial Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds and property of a precast concrete manufacturing facility. This role ensures the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained year-round by performing landscaping, upkeep, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and experienced with outdoor maintenance and light equipment operation in an industrial environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Mow and maintain lawns using hand or power mowers Trim and edge around walkways, curbs, walls, and landscaped areas Prune trees and shrubs to maintain appearance and promote healthy growth Plant and maintain grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees Water lawns and landscaping using hoses or sprinkler systems Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using hand or powered sprayers Site Cleanliness & Upkeep Remove trash, debris, and litter from grounds Maintain cleanliness of walkways, parking areas, and facility surroundings Clean drainage ditches and culverts to ensure proper water flow Seasonal Duties Remove snow from walkways, driveways, and facility access areas Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent hazardous ice buildup Repairs & General Maintenance Perform minor repairs on fences, gates, walls, and walkways Paint fences, structures, and outbuildings as needed Maintain and sharpen tools and equipment Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate tractors and equipment with attachments such as mowers, spreaders, rollers, and snow removal tools Perform minor maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively General Labor Support Assist with additional labor tasks as needed across the facility Support maintenance or operations teams during peak workloads or special projects Qualifications Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or industrial facility maintenance preferred Ability to operate landscaping equipment and light machinery Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and standing Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Work Environment Outdoor industrial setting within a precast concrete production facility Exposure to dust, noise, and moving equipment Requires adherence to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements Schedule Full-time; may require early mornings, overtime, or weekend work depending on seasonal demands All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #ZRGREENVILLE TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here Company Description Our recruiters are highly experienced in finding skilled craft professionals across construction, engineering, operations & maintenance, project services, commissioning and shutdown/outage needs.
