Wright Turf is seeking a skilled and reliable General Farm Mechanic/Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of a wide range of farm and turf equipment. From tractors and industrial mowers to other farm related machinery, you’ll help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently so we can continue delivering premium turf and sod to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:• Diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors, industrial mowers, and other farm equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, blade sharpening, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Keep detailed service records and maintain a clean, organized workshop
• Source and order parts as needed
• Assist with equipment setup, seasonal preparation, and occasional field support
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a mechanic working on agricultural, turf, or heavy equipment (tractors, mowers, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
