Must adhere to float policy. Epic experience required.Description: The inpatient oncology unit is a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit. It also includes a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio for the unit is 1:4. Responsibility includes providing clinical care to adult oncology patients. Candidates will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, physicians, and other support services. The unit is known for its evidence-based and quality-driven care. New nurses will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and training in oncology care. A free-floating charge nurse is available on both day and night shifts to provide support. Additional support from resource nurses is available several shifts per week.
