High School Pre-Employment Transition Facilitator

Job Type: Full-Time | 10-month
Location: Rockingham & Caswell Counties
Pay: $19.00/hour

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a High School Pre-Employment Transition Facilitator to support students with disabilities throughout Rockingham & Caswell Counties. As part of our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, you'll work with students ages 14-22 as they develop workplace readiness and practical life skills while preparing for greater independence after high school.

What You'll Do

• Support classroom instruction and student activities
• Work with students individually and in small groups
• Prepare lesson materials and hands-on activities
• Encourage participation and skill development
• Maintain program documentation and assist with billing
• Collaborate with instructors and school staff
• Travel between assigned high schools throughout Rockingham & Caswell Counties

What You'll Bring

• Associate's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel between Rockingham County & Caswell County school sites
• Ability to complete a background check and drug screening 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day
