Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology (RN IR)
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology unit. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology (EP). This position requires a minimum commitment of 10 shifts per month, including alternating weekends.
Unit Information
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: Interventional Radiology equipment and supplies
- Documentation System: Meditech
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care within the Interventional Radiology unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with a variety of interventional procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements.
- Monitoring patients' conditions pre, during, and post-procedure.
- Effectively collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Required Licenses: ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior experience in Interventional Radiology and EP required.
Work Schedule
- Preferred shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- On-call requirements: Flexibility to meet on-call needs, approximately 7-10 days per month.
Surgical scrubs will be provided. Experience within a fast-paced environment and the ability to function independently are preferred.
