Delivery Driver

Job Details Location: Fairborn, OH 45324 – 1191 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd. Salary: $10.70 per hour. Additional pay: $3.69 per delivery fee plus tips. Potential earnings: $20‑$25 per hour. Benefits Health/Vision/Dental Insurance 401(k) with match Paid time off Full‑time or part‑time availability Free employee meal Advancement opportunities Job Summary A driver primarily delivers pizzas, subs, and other company products using a personal vehicle to customer locations and must be able to perform all crew member functions as necessary. General Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver’s license and no moving violations in the past 36 months. Must own a personal vehicle that is properly insured and meets safety requirements as per company and state standards. Must provide proof of insurance when requested. Must pass the State of Ohio physical requirements for auto licensing. Must have knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Must have basic math and computer skills. Must know English, including vocabulary and grammar. Minimum Capabilities Work at a fast pace. Participate in various forms of training. Pass required tests. Read and understand rules and instructions. Stand, walk, and reach for at least 8 hours a day. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds at various times. Read maps or use mapping resources to find routes. Essential Functions Drive personal vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and deliver food products. Determine the best route for deliveries. Collect payment from customers and calculate monetary exchanges. Use transportation policies and procedures. Secure all items for each order before leaving the store. Follow all traffic laws. Use maps or other resources for best routing results. Answer customer questions and concerns regarding products and services. Stack or pile containers, materials, or products. Place food and beverages in take‑out containers. Provide proper and professional customer service on every delivery. Listen to oral instructions to determine work assignment. Arrive promptly to work each scheduled day in proper uniform. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed. Deliver orders in inclement weather. Additional Responsibilities Perform all crew member essential functions when needed. Learn and perform other positions as needed. Use professional oral and written communication techniques. Apply knowledge of food‑handling rules. Understand company and government food service regulations.
