Senior Network Engineer

We're looking for a talented and driven Senior Network Engineer to help design, build and support secure, scalable network infrastructure across both on-premises data centres and cloud environments. This is an opportunity to work on some truly exciting and niche projects, where your expertise will have a direct impact. You’ll be responsible for: Designing, deploying and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and VXLAN. Managing and optimising Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Supporting routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP. Developing network automation and remediation scripts in Python. Troubleshooting complex network issues using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump. Overseeing data centre infrastructure, structured cabling and power management. Implementing and maintaining network security controls, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement. Producing high-quality documentation and following ITIL-aligned processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing Level 2/3 support and mentoring junior engineers. About You Strong networking experience with a passion for technology and problem-solving. Excellent understanding of network security principles and best practices. Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and leading technical delivery. Curious, proactive and committed to continuous learning and professional development. Able to think creatively and solve complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments.
