Job Title: Medical/Surgical RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Peds, Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Med/surg nights RN Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Excellent assessment skills Strong communication skills Proficient in computer usage and documentation Ability to function independently Ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations High degree of confidentiality Description: The Medical/Surgical RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient-family centered care. The RN must consistently adhere to state standards. Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills are necessary. The RN must have the ability to function independently. The role requires the ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations. Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality is essential. The RN will support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Holiday coverage will be required.
