Job Description

As a Team Lead at Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), you will be responsible for guiding and motivating a team to achieve project objectives, ensuring the successful execution of tasks, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of professionals, fostering their growth and development.

• Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and resources.

• Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards within the team.

• Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments, stakeholders, and management.

• Participate in project planning, goal setting, and progress reporting.

• Resolve conflicts and address challenges within the team in a constructive and timely manner.

• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency relevant to the team's area of expertise.

Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Life Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant professional role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools pertinent to the team's function.

• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is a plus.

At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry. For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting.
