Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bethune, South Carolina to find an experienced and detail-oriented QUALITY TECHNICIAN to join their growing team!
This position is responsible for product testing, inspection, and release following established quality standards and procedures. The QA Technician will also perform non-routine testing, support manufacturing, process, and R&D efforts, enter testing data, and generate routine reports. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:- Perform product testing, inspections, and quality checks
- Evaluate work-in-process and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
- Analyze testing data to determine material release and identify out-of-specification products
- Complete nonconformance reporting when required
- Enter data accurately into computer systems and generate routine reports
- Aseptically collect micro substrates
- Perform environmental and personnel sampling
- Collect and test process water
- Perform daily audits and quality checks
- Conduct safety walks and report unsafe conditions or concerns
- Calibrate testing equipment as required
- Perform chemical analysis as needed
- Follow product documentation and testing procedures
- Accurately complete required paperwork, documentation, and labeling
- Read and follow work instructions, product specifications, OPLs, and production orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Life Saving Rules
- Work independently while supporting other team members as needed
- Ensure testing results and required documentation are completed in a timely manner
- Previous quality assurance, quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred
- Ability to learn and navigate quality-related computer systems and software
- Ability to follow written procedures, testing instructions, and product specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
