Physician - Cognitive Neurologist - Full-Time Academic Position

Our organization is actively looking for a Cognitive Specialist to become part of our exceptional Academic Neurology department and vibrant team. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and eligible for licensure in Louisiana. Leadership roles are available for those who qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional clinical care to patients with neurological disorders.

• Educating medical students and neurology residents, including oversight in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic sessions.

• Engaging in departmental initiatives and aiding in the development of the Dementia program.

• Offering mentorship and clinical guidance to faculty and residents.

• Opportunity to manage a large patient base and assume leadership roles. Louisiana ranks fifth in the nation for Alzheimer’s mortality, with North Louisiana facing a significant disease burden, providing a chance to become a regional expert.
