Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a safe patient care environment in alignment with facility safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must meet 50-mile radius travel requirement from assignment location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience working in a large, accredited acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and compliance requirements
